Now on to what some people may consider spam. Please remove if this crosses the line. I am just trying to get it out there.
I have come here to ask for assistance in winning a school project. Each group in our class has been instructed to generate as much profit as they can in 2 hours. All we are given is an envelope containing our "seed money." The moment we open the envelope the clock starts ticking. Our group got creative and has decided to sell the mystery and mystique of the envelope. We do not know what is inside. It could be money, it could be nothing, or maybe it is just a motivational quote. We have absolutely no idea. It will be the lucky winner who gets to find out!
We will be raffling off the envelope. Each one dollar donation gets you one raffle ticket!
A little bit of background. Our group is comprised of undergraduate students at Cal State University Fullerton enrolled in a new venture launch course. Our professor is Dr. Atul Teckchandani. As an entrepreneurial course, he wants to focus on figuratively and literally getting outside of the building in order to become critical thinkers. We believe he has set us up for a great start with this assignment.
It seems as though most teams are going the safe route by trying to sell cookies or water on campus. LAME! We decided to think bigger and aggregate the power of the internet community! We run the risk of not getting any revenue, however if we are successful, it will be much more satisfying than a bake sale. As far as we know there is no prize or grade associated with winning. Our team just happens to be highly competitive and driven. Each team will present their findings and success in the following class. I will update this post on how our team did compared to the others.
ALL PROCEEDS will go to a noble charity. We will not be keeping a single penny of the money raised.
